ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORITY (ETA) TO AUSTRALIA
An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) allows travel to Australia for tourism or business purposes. An ETA is linked electronically to your passport so there is no stamp or label required.Citizens from ETA eligible countries can apply for and obtain an ETA online. Citizens from 12 other European countries are eligible to apply for and obtain an eVisitor visa online.
An ETA or eVisitor visa is valid for one year, and allows multiple entries into Australia of up to three months per visit.
Application Requirements:
At the time of your ETA or eVisitor visa application you must be located outside Australia
You must be from an ETA or eVisitor eligible country
You must be in good health and free from tuberculosis
You must disclose if you have any criminal convictions for which you have been sentenced to a total period of 12 months or more
Your current passport must be valid for 6 months or more at the time of your application
You must provide your details exactly as they appear on your passport
